Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science/ IT or Computer Applications

  • Experience in elaborating requirements, designing solutions, and understanding systems capabilities and limitations by executing features and enhancements
  • Experience in structuring a product roadmap, engaging with multiple product and engineering stakeholders to advocate, articulate, ensure buy-in, and secure dependencies.
  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of authorization and clearing/issuing processes, and of ISO 8583 messaging
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills.
  • Problem-solving and pragmatic mindset, analytical skills, and attention to documentation.
  • Be able to forge a path forward by navigating the constraints and the complexity of the ecosystem to leverage. Tenacity, exploration, analysis.
  • Like to dive deep into the operational characteristics of the product
  • More than 5 years of product development experience
  • Accountability, sense of urgency, care, passion for the domain.

Role

  • Exhibits advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and established programming techniques to continuously drive the selection of languages best suited for the architecture of a system/ application
  • Integrates business applications at an enterprise level using third-party middleware or by designing and implementing custom interfaces and mapping for those interfaces
  • Leads efforts to define application integration requirements; responsible for deployment, planning, and execution of multi-tier application integration initiatives.
  • Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable products for commercialization, ensuring the build effort concludes on time and budget, enabling a go-to-market plan focused on ease of delivery and great customer experience.
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of the delivery of the vision across all products: capabilities, scalability, performance, speed-to-market, readiness for growth, and re-usability.
  • Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices
  • Apply logic, reasoning, and sound decision-making skills to elaborate solutions with Engineering teams.
  • Elaborate the concepts and achieve clarity of thought about what will ultimately be built.
  • Detail the epics, participate in the definition of the flows and interfaces for the product, perform joint solution design with Engineering teams, structure the roadmap and propose phasing of the delivery, prioritize the backlog, define the acceptance criteria, and accept the features.
  • Ensure that the artifacts needed by our internal customers are produced with consistency, quality, and care: sequence diagrams, capability training decks for product management, DevZone API articles, and content to be inserted in the product guide, …
  • Fully understand the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting the products.

  • Demonstrate project management capabilities to elaborate a joint delivery plan with the multiple squads participating in the delivery, from switch and edge.

Major Accountabilities

(Accountabilities will include some but not necessarily all depending upon specific role):

  • Provide technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met
  • Provide technical support to Business Owners during implementation of new products/services
  • Provide subject matter expertise for support escalations
  • Prioritize and identify cross-application/system enhancements
  • Determine development impacts on current processing and work with programmers and users to ensure the accuracy of enhancements
  • Lead review sessions of technical requirements
  • Manage defect resolution process
