Tech Lead (DevOps with Harness/Groovy)

We are seeking a talented and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security and efficiency of our software development and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to implement and maintain DevSecOps practices and tools.

Must-Have Skills:

• Jenkins – should have developed CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins
• Harness (preferably Nextgen) – should have worked on Harness for the CD pipeline
• Groovy scripting – hands-on experience
• Linux system hands-on
• Shell scripting
• Bitbucket
• Artifactory

Good to have:

• Docker, Openshift
• Powershell
• Terraform, IaC, Ansible
• Veracode, Checkmarx, Checkmarx ONE, Blackduck, SNOW integration
• Hashicorp Vault
• Keptn
• Experience in Integration with Jmeter, Neoload, Chaos Litmus, or a similar tool
• Experienced in a DB deployment tool like flyway or liquibase

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with development, operations, and security teams to align DevSecOps practices with project goals.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of the development pipeline.
• Integrate scanning tools within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain documentation for CI/CD pipeline configurations, deployment processes, and automation scripts.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.

Qualification:

• Proven experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with Harness for building Continuous Delivery pipelines and templates.
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Certification in Jenkins or relevant DevSecOps certifications is a plus.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools such as CheckMarx, Blackduck, Veracode, and SonarQube.
• Proficient understanding of different deployment methods including Rolling, Canary, and Blue/Green deployments.
• Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory for managing artifact repositories.
• Knowledge of various build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant for building and managing software projects.
