Paresh Banerjee
Board Member
Paresh is a technology expert with over 27 years of experience in managing diverse software projects in the financial services industry, including the implementation of payment switches, gateways, card management systems, and complex financial portals. He specializes in designing mission-critical, high-performance systems like exchange trading engines, reservation systems around the Tandem Nonstop platform.
He started his career in Wipro in 1990, as a Customer Support Exec, supporting Unix, SUN, and Tandem Nonstop systems. He was a key member of Wipro Bombay’s pre-sales team, leading many of the large and successful benchmarks. He joined Indigo technologies in 1994, where he led the host side development of the automated trading solution (TESA) product. He also consulted for Tandem across Asia-Pacific at stock exchanges in New Zealand, Korea, banks in Indonesia, and Thailand railways.
In 1996, Paresh joined the founding team of Opus. He was mainly responsible for building the delivery organization. In 2000, he moved to the US to lead the professional services business, setting up the US operations, leading the sales teams, and managing some of the key strategic client engagements. Currently, he serves as a board member and guides the leadership team in identifying growth opportunities and streamlining offerings.
He has a master’s degree in Computer Applications from the MS University of Baroda.
Paresh is based out of New Jersey, USA. He is fond of travel, photography and loves exploring different cuisines.
